The award ceremony organised by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport was the largest ever held, with over 450 representatives from the transport and logistics industry attending the Gala Dinner hosted by Richard Curran of Dragons Den fame. The TranzTacho software, for which Tranzaura received its nomination, was in such illustrious shortlisted company as Dell, Glanbia and The National Transport Authority of Ireland.

Tranzaura’s innovative software solution enables client companies to manage all driving time directive and working time directive legislation as governed by the European Union. In his acceptance speech on the night Mike Price, Sales Director and Founder, said ”A big thank you to the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, all the team at Tranzaura for their hard work to date, and all Tranzaura customers who have helped make the software the ongoing success that it is.”

Mel Hurley, CEO, said “This is the second national award for our TranzTacho product in the last six months and we are delighted with this recognition. The next big milestone for Tranzaura will see its expansion into the UK market at the end of April. The TranzTacho software will be officially launched at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham on the 24th of April. We already have a number of clients using the software in the UK and we expect to build on this recent success to expand our Irish and UK customer base.”

Tranzaura is delighted to announce that Tranztacho has been selected as the preferred choice of tachograph management software by the Irish Road Haulage Association's 'Preferred Supplier Programme'. This programme provides IRHA members with a listing of recommended providers of products and services relative to the road transport industry. The programme seeks to promote Irish companies that have the most reliable and innovative products and services for operators in the haulage industry. The completed directory is not an exhaustive list of every supplier in the country, but rather a limited list of companies who will have passed a rigorous vetting process undertaken by IRHA head-office before inclusion in the directory.
